Shrink Your Stomach Muscles!
Eat small meals and your stomach muscles shrink!
Even after one meal, your stomach can shrink, or stretch... depending on the size of the meal. Cut your portions in half and your stomach will shrink. As a result, you will feel full with less food at your next meal.
Honor your stomach. Stretching it out is a bad idea!
It is natural to become hungry every 4-5 hours if you have eaten enough protein, carbohydrate and fat in just the right portions. Your body knows when it is time to eat and when your stomach has had enough food.
Just tune in and you can hear its conversation:
"My body needs sustenance". "Stop! I have had enough!!!" So, listen and begin to trust your Self. It just takes some practice. Remember: I was bulimic for 18 years. So, if I could do it, so can you. It is all about breathing and staying in touch with your own physical, mental and spiritual needs. When I was seriously bulimic, I used food to self-medicate my anxiety with carbohydrates. Now that I trust my Self, I know when to eat and how much to eat, intuitively, without counting Calories. And when I overdo it -- as we all occasionally do, I think nothing of it. I hydrate and eat healthier at the next meal, with lots of vegetable roughage to move it through the intestinal tract. So, if you have stuffed your Self silly, just wait to be truly hungry before eating again...even if it takes three days!
I advocate freedom of expression of one's own unique eating pattern. "Dieting sucks". Dieting leads to overeating and binging since strict dieting is a form of self-starvation and leads to an obsession with food.
It is crucial to nurture your Self with premium fuels. To select superior cuisine, educate your Self to know the difference. That is part of my mission in this lifetime... to educate you about nutrition!
C'mon. Do something different: trust your Self.
Eat only when you are physically hungry.
It is called Innate Wisdom...
and it works well if you hear it and decide to act upon it.
